Ajmer Dargah Shariff
The main attraction of Ajmer is the Dargah, a symbol of harmony and spirituality and the final resting place of the Sufism propagator Khawaja Moinuddin Chisthi.
The Dargah is inscribed by many Persian inscriptions. Large silver doors open to a courtyard which encases the tomb. The tomb itself is built with marble and plated with gold.

Adhai Din ka Jhonpra
This is Ajmer’s oldest mosque. It was built in the 12th century by Qutub-Ud-din Aibak and developed further by Sultan Iltumish. The name itself means two and half days, refers to the time duration taken to build this unique mosque. Akbari fort and Museum
The Akbari fort was built by Mughal emperor Akbar around 1500 AD. Elements of both Rajasthani and Islamic architecture have been incorporated in this historic fort. You can enjoy glimpses of Ajmer’s history in a single place inside this fort.
This fort also houses a Government museum with a big collection of historical exhibits such as rock inscriptions, weapons, and miniatures Check out ancient coins, and sculptures of Vishnu, Lakshmi Narayan, Kuber, Trimurti, Surya, Mahishashura Mardini and Kali.

Ana Sagar Lake
This alluring artificial lake was built by Anaji Tomar who is grandfather of the famous Prithviraj Chauhan in the 12th century. It is located near the Anasagar circular road. This spot is the best place to visit with family.

Durga Bagh Gardens
This garden is situated on the banks of the Ana Sagar Lake. This garden was constructed by Maharaja Shiv Dan in 1868. The marble pavilion, also called Baradari, is a major attraction surrounded by numerous flowering and ornamental plants.

Foy Sagar Lake
Foy Sagar Lake is at a strategic position where you get glorious views of the Aravalis ranges.
It was built in 1892 named after its British engineer Mr.Foy. This lake is accessible by bus and train and is a great spot for sunsets.

Nareli Jain Temple
This temple is lies in the city outskirts and is an important pilgrimage centre for Jain religion followers, especially Digambra Jains. This temple also goes by another name, Gyanodaya Tirth Kshetra. It has elements of modern and traditional architecture.
You can see the five auspicious events also called Pancha Kalyanak of a Trithankara here. These events begin with conception and end with Moksha or Nirvana. The artistic representation here is 100 years old and is placed in a special hall.

Daulat bagh
Daulat bagh is a very popular tourist hangout for tourists and is equally inviting to locals during summer. It is a beautiful garden around an amazing lake. The Marble pavilion here was built by the Mughal ruler Jehangir. The well-maintained and manicured garden is a great option for relaxing and enjoying the views.
Pushkar
Pushkar is a holy temple town in Ajmer district about 10 kms from the city. It is a revered by both Hindus and Sikhs alike for the various temples and Lake ghats located here. The only Brahma temple in the country is situated here.
Two Gurudwaras for Guru Nanak and Guru Gobind Singh have been built here. The famous annual Pushkar camel fair is held on a full moon day in the Hindu calendar month of Karthika.
Savitri Temple
This holy temple is situated in Ratnagiri hill in Pushkar, Ajmer. There are 3 idols that of Goddess Savitri, Goddess Sharada and Goddess Saraswathi. The hill top can be reached by climbing 970 steps or via a rope car.
Taragarh Fort
This historical fort with intrinsic architecture was built by the Chauhan kings in the 13th century. It is located strategically on top of the Aravallis range. Enjoy grand views of the city from the top in the fort.
