Agenda includes ministry updates on Israel, her Arab neighbors & work of ALL ISRAEL NEWS
For the first time in the ministry’s almost-two decade history, The Joshua Fund is hosting a cruise to Alaska for those interested in an exciting summer vacation with a ministry purpose.
From Aug. 2-9, founders Joel and Lynn Rosenberg will host the week-long voyage from Vancouver to some of the most breathtaking regions of Alaska.
They will teach from the scriptures – including sessions on Bible prophecy – as well as share testimonies of how The Joshua Fund staff has been working faithfully to bless Israelis, Palestinians, Lebanese, and others in the region with the love and compassion of Jesus Christ during the bitterly tragic war that erupted on Oct. 7, 2023.
In addition to times of biblical worship – led by a Lebanese Evangelical Christian who grew up in Beirut and now lives in the States – there will be extended times of prayer, and special question & answer sessions with the Rosenbergs.
The cruise will also feature Israeli and Arab ministry leaders from the Epicenter. As trusted ministry allies of The Joshua Fund, these leaders will share how they see God at work in powerful and miraculous ways, even in times of tremendous hardship and suffering.
They will also be sharing prayer requests from their own lives and ministries, as well as from fellow brothers and sisters in Christ – both Jewish and Arab – across the region.
What’s more, there will be times to get to know fellow Joshua Fund cruisers and enjoy the spectacular scenery of America’s 49th – and largest – state.
A TIME OF OF REFRESHMENT & ENCOURAGEMENT
“It’s been such a painful and exhausting season of military conflict and spiritual warfare in the Middle East that we’ve been asking the Lord to show us a way to refresh, encourage and educate our faithful prayer partners, donors, and volunteers,” Rosenberg explained.
“We’ve also been looking for a way to welcome folks who have never been involved in The Joshua Fund before – who may not have even heard of this ministry before – but are looking to learn more about an Evangelical Christian ministry that truly seeks to bless both Israel and her Arab neighbors in the name of Jesus and has a heart of mercy and compassion for innocent souls on both sides of this conflict.”
“An Alaska cruise will be a wonderful way to accomplish these objectives,” Rosenberg added.
“Before COVID, Lynn and I hosted a Joshua Fund cruise through New England – from Boston to Montreal during the Fall colors – and the feedback was tremendous. Everyone said it was so fun and so spiritually and physically refreshing and such a great way to learn about what the Holy Spirit is doing in the Epicenter and have time to truly absorb and process what they were learning.”
“We’ve been praying for the right time to do it again, while also changing things up and taking our guests someplace new, and the Lord put this Alaska cruise on our hearts.”
A VACATION TO CHERISH FOR A LIFETIME
Lynn Rosenberg, who co-founded the ministry with her husband in the summer of 2006, emphasized that the cruise is not a fundraiser. While there will be an opportunity for guests to learn how to get involved in TJF financially if they would like, the overwhelming purpose is to create an educational and inspirational vacation that individuals, couples, and families will remember and cherish for a lifetime.
“We want to refresh and get to know better the prayer warriors, allies, and trusted and dear friends of The Joshua Fund who have stood with this ministry through such an ugly and horrible war over these last 16 months,” Lynn said.
“We also want to share more about the strategic alliance The Joshua Fund has with ALL ISRAEL NEWS and ALL ARAB NEWS since these media ministries are so important to us.”
“The Epicenter Briefing we held in California last September was so special and touched by God’s Spirit,” she added. “People came away feeling like they really understood the mission of the ministry in such a clearer and deeper way, and that they better understood how both The Joshua Fund and ALL ISRAEL NEWS strengthen the Church in the region to advance Christ’s Kingdom and fulfill the Great Commission.”
“The heart and spirit of this cruise is exactly the same – it’s going to be an Epicenter Briefing sea – it’s just that the setting is going to be even more spectacular,” Lynn added.
