Justin Bieber is thinking about growth and maturity amid rampant speculation about his marriage to Hailey Bieber.
The “Peaches” singer, 30, shared an inspirational, if cryptic, message about growing up via his Instagram Stories on Thursday, February 20.
“It’s time to grow up … Changing is about letting go,” the post read in part. “You don’t work to mature … You let go to mature.”
“The weight isn’t on me to change … The weight is on God. So I give all my insecurities and my fears to him this morning,” the post continued. “Because I know he gladly takes it. Asking Jesus to genuinely help me with simply the next step today.”
Justin and Hailey, 28, have been the subject of much social media chatter about their marriage in recent months. In December, TikToker Sloan Hooks speculated whether the Biebers spent the holidays together. According to Hooks, “It doesn’t seem like things are going too well.” (The clip amassed millions of views.)
At the time, Hailey appeared to hit back via a cryptic Instagram post of her own. Hailey reshared a viral video of TikToker EyeGotThyme repeating the phrase, “You’re not well, and it’s OK.” She wrote over the video, “Me to all of you on the internet 🫶🏻”
The couple, who share son Jack Blues, 6 months, also appeared to shut down talk of any discord between them by sharing photos via Instagram of their Valentine’s date together on Saturday, February 15.
For the loved-up occasion, the Rhode Skin founder wore red-colored briefs and a red cropped cardigan, as well as a brown fur coat. One photo shows the star seductively posing in a doorway, while another shows the couple posing for a selfie. In the selfie, taken by Justin, the “Baby” singer is shirtless and showing off his tattoos, rocking just a leopard-print tie loosened around his neck. Justin also shared the selfie via his Instagram with a kiss emoji.
In January, Justin raised eyebrows when eagle-eyed fans noticed that his Instagram account was no longer following his wife’s. Hailey, for her part, was still following her husband.

Hours earlier, Justin shared a sweet social media tribute to Hailey. “The greatest woman I have and will ever know,” he captioned a series of photos from what appeared to be a winter vacation at the time.
After the incident, Justin set the record straight, too. “Someone went on my account and unfollowed my wife,” he wrote via his Instagram Story in January. “S— is getting suss out here.”
