So we conclude that Uttan Beach is mostly rocky and blackish. The positive side is that hills and coconut trees surround it, and it’s ideal for wading through the frequent waves. Plus, you get great views from the shoreline.
Gorai Beach – is located near Uttan and is a popular destination because of its stunning beaches and serene atmosphere. The beach is so long, that it is allowed to drive it in your car. It is lined with wooden and small houses, and stalls with street food such as Golas, corn on the cob, etc.
A characteristic of this beach is that it is black in color. So imagine what kind of sunset you will experience if you choose it at least for a one-day picnic.
Manori Beach is considered one of the cleanest beaches in the region. It is hidden from the hustle and bustle with lush greenery and is a refreshing change compared to the crowded beaches.
There are also several resorts nearby to stay. But you have to be careful because it is on the Arabian Sea and here the waves can be very big and forcefully hit the beach.
Kelva Beach is a quiet beach located in close proximity to Uttan. Very few people know about it, so it remains the cleanest and most untouched beach in the vicinity of Uttan.

Arnala Beach is another beach near Uttan. It is decorated with Suru trees on the southern side, providing cool shade on hot days.

The Local Cuisine – the village is known for its delicious seafood. Freshly caught fish, seafood, prawns..and of course the widely heard flavors of Konkani.
