Regent Seven Seas Cruises, an ultra-luxury cruise line, and the Formula One team Aston Martin Aramcohave partnered on a new nautical experience on a cruise that will sail the Mediterranean in the summer of 2025, making a stop in Ibiza, as well as other destinations full of history and tradition of motor racing such as Barcelona, Monaco and Monte Carlo.
The cruise will feature the participation of the former Formula 1 driver, Pedro de la Rosa and members of the Aston Martin Aramco F1 team, including engineers and executives, and a series of workshops on innovation and design will be held on board.
On a public deck of the cruise ship a full-size replica of one of the team’s race cars and a simulator will be placed for passengers to test their skills on a virtual circuit.
The trip is aboard the Seven Seas Splendora luxury ship of 224 meters in length, 10 decks, 373 suites and a capacity for 746 passengers. The price per person to participate in this experience starts at 9,000 euros and goes up to 60,000 euros for the most exclusive suites, which are already reserved and must be placed on a waiting list.
Before setting sail for their first crossing, Regent Seven Seas Cruises and Aston Martin Aramco Formula One offer a land program (for certain suite categories) with dinner at a Catalan restaurant, tour of the Montjuïc racing circuit (host of the Spanish Grand Prix 4 times) and a helicopter ride over the track.
Once at sea, the ship will sail the Mediterranean, starting in Barcelona and making stops in Valencia, Ibiza and Palma de Mallorca in Spain; Provence and Saint-Tropez in France; Monte Carlo in Monaco; Portofino, Livorno and ending in Civitavecchia, near Rome, Italy.
The main destination is Monaco, home to the most emblematic race in the history of the Formula 1: the Monaco Grand Prix.
In this small but affluent country, passengers will have a city tour (mainly Monte Carlo), visit a classic car collection and Prince Rainier’s private car collection, taste a lunch and aperitif overlooking the Port Hercule, take a walking tour of the Monaco circuit and even get to know Monaco on a helicopter flight.
In Ibiza they expect to dock on July 25 at 8:00 a.mfrom Valencia. On the island, passengers can choose between several activities: sunbathing at Platja d’en Bossa, a stroll through the port of Ibiza and Dalt Vila, an excursion to Santa Eulària and its Puig de Missa, a tour of the island with all-terrain vehicles, a kayak ride, eating a bullit de peix in the port of Sant Miquel…
The cruise will leave the island on July 25 at 8 p.m. bound for Palma de Mallorca.
