India attracts lakhs of tourists, whether they are solo travellers or groups visiting with friends and family. The trend of solo travel has become popular among tourists worldwide, and India is one of the top choices for these travellers. But solo travels often turn into lifelong adventure. One such traveller is a Russian woman who came to India five years ago on a solo trip, but ended up staying permanently after falling in love with an Indian man.
In a recent viral Instagram video, Polina Agarwal (her surname after marriage) shared her story. Polina said that she came to India for a five-day solo trip, but her life changed so dramatically that she has not returned to her country for five years.
According to the video, Polina has always had a passion for travel. She frequently travelled alone, and this love for exploring led her to decide on a solo trip to India. She planned a five-day tour that included many famous tourist spots across the country.
However, within those five days, Polina developed feelings for an Indian man. After realising their mutual feelings, both decided to get married. Although Polina does not mention anything about her husband in the video, she often refers to herself as a ‘Baniya’ and has even adopted ‘Agarwal’ as her surname.
